We accept donations by appointment on Thursdays. Appointments are required.  All clothing must be on hangers, clean, in nearly new condition, and ready to wear. In accordance with our guidelines, any clothing in bags or boxes will be declined.

Do I need an appointment to donate clothes?

Yes, appointments are required. Donations are accepted on Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please note that for the health, safety and welfare of our staff, clients, and volunteers, we cannot make exceptions to our donation procedures at this time. We appreciate your understanding and support of Dress for Success Palm Beaches.

What are your clothing donation requirements?

To ensure our clients look and feel their best, we ask that donated items be freshly dry-cleaned or laundered, ironed, and on hangers. We ask that clothing is work-appropriate, suitable for job interviews, and not more than a few years old. Once a client secures a job, she is invited back to choose a full week of professional attire to begin her new position looking and feeling confident.

What items do you accept?

We accept the following suiting items:

  • Dresses, slacks, skirts, blouses, polo shirts, and cardigan sweaters
  • Black or tan Docker-style pants
  • Medical scrubs (all sizes)
  • Black and brown new, or gently used, professional purses
  • New, or gently used, professional shoes in all sizes, flats or modest heels (please NO mules, stilettos, or sandals)
  • Non-skid shoes (all sizes)
  • New, unopened makeup, especially mascara, lipstick, and lip gloss
  • New undergarments with tags still attached
  • Jewelry of modest styles, necklaces, and pierced earrings in silver, gold, black, or pearl

What items do you not accept?

Our Suiting program is designed to help women feel empowered as they prepare for job interviews. Therefore, we cannot accept the following items:

  • Casual clothing
  • Clothing with tears, loose hems, stains, pilling, or pet hair
  • Shoes that are in need of repair
  • Clothing in trash bags or plastic bags
  • Clothing that is older than a few years old and does not reflect current professional styles




Once I have an appointment, where do I drop off my donation?

While we are still following CDC guidelines, we will provide specific instructions for making your donation. Donations are received at our primary office location at 2459 South Congress Avenue, Suite 204, Palm Springs, FL 33406. Thank you for your support!

What other donations do you accept besides clothing?

We gratefully welcome support from our community to sustain our mission. Support can also be offered through a monetary gift, corporate partnership, volunteering, attending or sponsoring one of our events, or joining our Circle of Impact. Visit our Donation page to learn more.
