Local Support Agencies

211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast is a community helpline and crisis hotline that provides suicide prevention, crisis intervention, information, assessment, and referral to community services for people of all ages. It serves Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie counties.

Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA) promotes violence-free relationships and social change by offering alternative choices to end violence and domestic abuse. AVDA is fully operational at this time and the hotline is answered 24/7. Call 1-800-355-8547 for resources and help.

Center for Child Counseling is offering telehealth services to help children and teens cope with the emotional challenges related to the stress surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.

Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is open and connecting parents who are emergency response personnel and essential-business workers to open child care facilities and early learning centers. For more information, call 561-514-3300.

Hanley Foundation Addiction Resources – The Hanley Foundation has curated a network of LIVE online hosted groups for those struggling with addiction and for loved ones.

Palm Beach County Victim Services & Certified Rape Crisis Center helpline is available for information, options and support: 561-833-7273. Services are free, confidential and private.

Prime Time PBC – Activities for Children is hosting free virtual summer camps Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Help Finding Food

Catholic Charities – Food giveaway on the second Tuesday of every month at the St. Francis Center, 100 W. 20th St., Riviera Beach from Noon to 2:00 p.m. No registration required.

CROS Ministries serves the hungry in Palm Beach and Martin Counties through seven Community Food Pantries, six pantries that are located in community partner buildings and one mobile “pop-up” pantry distributing food in nine different locations; Gleaning, a produce recovery program partnering with local farmers to recover food that would otherwise go to waste; The Caring Kitchen, a hot meal program; and Children’s Programming.

United Way of Palm Beach County wants to make it easier to find food with the Palm Beach County Food Finder Map. The map is a joint effort between Palm Beach County, the School District of Palm Beach County, Palm Beach County Food Bank, Feeding South Florida, FLIPANY, Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, Area Agency on Aging Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies, Living Hungry, and Hospitality Helpings Hands.

Palm Beach County Food Bank (PBCFB) supports close to 200 partner agencies that provide food to our neighbors in need. Partner agencies are food pantries, soup kitchens, residential facilities, and other social services organizations that are located throughout Palm Beach County.

Feeding South Florida is providing “drive-thru” style grocery pick up in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties. Also visit Feeding South Florida’s agency locator at to find a Feeding South Florida partner agency with regular distributions.
