Suiting Program
Welcome to our Suiting program where women can obtain all they need for a job interview—from clothing to confidence! Dress for Success works with approved agencies who refer career-ready women. Referred clients receive one-on-one attention with an experienced personal shopper who will help clients select clothing and other accessories so they shine on interview day. Clients then meet with an experienced career coach to make sure resumes are in good shape, interviewing skills are in top form, and self-confidence is dialed up.
When interviews do not produce an immediate job offer, our clients are invited to attend a job readiness program where they will receive a personalized career assessment profile and access to mentors to assist them on their journey of self-discovery. Once a client has found employment, she is invited back to choose a full week of professional attire and accessories. She will also receive an invitation to join the Professional Women’s Group (PWG), our job retention and career advancement program.
While we are widely known for our Suiting program, our organization offers services “beyond the suit” to help our clients be the best they can be in today’s competitive job market. Our free, job readiness and personal empowerment programs prepare clients for the modern workforce, help them discover their unique strengths, and provide the resources for achieving sustainable careers.
Our Road to Success program meets for six weeks and covers eight sessions in an empowering environment led by a professional facilitator with guest speakers from leaders in the community. Through a curriculum that includes a career and personality assessment, participants discover their personal power and gain clarity on their career goals. Road to Success also provides one-on-one coaching, resume customization, interview training, and strategies on how to build a strong professional network.
Our Keys to Success program centers around instructional videos that provide concrete skills on a variety of topics that include resume and interviewing preparation, defining one’s image, and financial literacy. The Keys to Success videos empower women to achieve their goals and can be viewed in the Career Center. Appointment scheduling with one of our virtual career coaches is also available.
Professional Women's Group (PWG)
The Dress for Success Palm Beaches Professional Women’s Group (PWG) supports graduates of our job readiness and suiting programs with ongoing career development and employment retention. Our goal is to ensure that women move toward meaningful and sustainable careers. Membership is open to all Dress for Success clients who have successfully gained employment. The group provides a networking opportunity for women as they continue on the road to self-discovery and economic independence. Expert speakers provide presentations on workplace topics.
While we are widely known for our Suiting Program, our organization offers many services “beyond the suit” to ensure our clients are ready for today’s job market. Our on-site Career Center offers one-on-one coaching, job readiness programs, and monthly support meetings with our Professional Women’s Group (PWG). We also offer coaching appointments through our Virtual Career Center where the client can meet with a virtual coach. Clients may schedule personalized appointments on our Scheduling page.
In the Career Center, clients have the opportunity to take a skills course, view career-related videos to supplement their job readiness, and explore national, state, and local job search portals.
