Dress for Success Palm Beaches is part of a global organization with nearly 130 affiliates in 15 countries. Since opening our doors in 2010, we have grown exponentially and have served over 8000 women from Palm Beach, Broward, and Martin counties. With a poverty rate for women in our area that hovers near 20 percent, our services are requested regularly from over 80 partner referral agencies.

Dress for Success Palm Beaches is one of nearly 130 global network members in some 15 countries. We opened our doors in 2010 and have since assisted more than 8,000 women through job readiness courses, mentoring, and our signature wardrobing program—all free! In 2025 alone we served more than 1,000.

the need
Women make up half of the world’s population, yet only 47% of women are in the workforce compared to 72% of men. And when women do work, according to global statistics they earn on average 20% less than men. At the current pace, it could take more than 130 years to close this gender pay gap. This is an inequality that DFS is determined to reverse.
those we serve
We empower women from Palm Beach, Broward and Martin counties. Referred by more than 80 leading social service agencies, they include the newly divorced, formerly incarcerated, those in recovery from addiction, domestic abuse survivors, Florida newcomers, recent high school graduates, and returnees to the workforce following an illness or as caregivers to others.
