As a Road to Success participant, Yubrasca Lopez’s dedication to uplifting others has yielded remarkable results, earning her Advocate of the Year awarded by BRIDGES, a program of our partner agency Children’s Services Council. In our October newsletter we welcomed Elizabeth Inman, our new Director of Programs and Outreach Services. Before joining Dress for Success, Elizabeth worked as an Operations Pastor, where she helped people find their next step toward community with others. We have a lot to be excited about as summer is beginning to wind down. Our Teacher Appreciation Week, when teachers can come to get pampered for FREE, is well underway and bigger than ever! Our next pop-up sale will come sooner than you know it…make sure to come shop with us at the end…

This month, Women’s History month, is also when we typically hold our “Style for Hope” fundraising luncheon. The support we receive from so many in our community recharges our batteries every year! We were lucky enough to have held our most successful luncheon ever, with nearly 600 attendees, in 2020 just prior to the pandemic….
